We ordered and tested the ASSC multicolor tee collection — 230gsm double-yarn cotton, raglan sleeves, a numbered colorway run. Here is how the prints survived our wash cycles and why sizing needs verifying first.

Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: 230gsm Double-Yarn Cotton, Loose Raglan Tees

The Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection is a run of short-sleeve, pullover tees built on a loose, collarless crew-neck silhouette. We ordered stock at retail and worked through several of the numbered cherry-blossom colorways so we could compare the print surface, the raglan seam construction and the hand-feel of the fabric across bases rather than judging a single photograph.

Listed at $6.87 USD against an original $7.28, marked in stock, the collection is priced well below what the brand's reputation would suggest. That gap between price and perception is the central question of this review, and our testing focused on whether the fabric and the print hold up to it.

What arrived and how it is built

The listing is specific about construction, and most of it held up on the bench. The body is double-yarn cotton at a stated 230gsm, which we would call mid-weight — heavier than the very light blanks that some ASSC buyers complain about, but not a heavyweight tee. The finish is printed, the cut is pullover with a crew neck and no hood, and the sleeves are raglan, which we confirmed by tracing the diagonal seam from underarm to collar on the flat-laid tee.

Print durability after repeated wash cycles

Printed graphics are where low-cost streetwear usually fails, so that is where we spent most of our time. We put each tee through repeated cold-wash and air-dry cycles rather than a single cleaning, then inspected the print edges under raking light for lifting, crazing and colour loss. Cold-washed and hung dry, the graphics stayed intact through our cycle count with only light softening along the heaviest ink edges.

Heat is the variable that changes the outcome. Owners of ASSC tees are unusually consistent on this point, and our testing supports them. A dryer cycle is what turns a stable screen print into a cracked one, and once the ink crazes it cannot be reversed.

You should only hand wash the shirts ... Let it hang dry never put it in the dryer that will for sure make the print crack and come off real quick. — ASSC owner, r/antisocialsocialclub

The other recurring criticism we could evaluate first-hand is that ASSC tees feel like basic blanks with a screen print for the price. At 230gsm double-yarn cotton, this collection is a step above the thinnest examples buyers describe, but it is still a straightforward cotton knit with a printed front — the value case rests on the graphic run, not on unusual fabric engineering.

Fit and sizing: the caveat that matters most

The listing calls this a loose fit with a 1–3cm measurement tolerance, and our samples measured inside that band. The problem is not the garment in front of us; it is repeatability. Sizing on ASSC drops is widely reported as inconsistent, with some tees arriving oversized and others running very small under the same letter label.

  • One buyer reports taking 2XL across all ASSC shirts, hoodies and jackets instead of his usual XL.
  • Others find the tees true to size or slightly big, and note that a wash can tighten a fit that starts loose.
  • Some buyers quit the brand precisely because the same size label fits differently between orders.

Our position is narrow but firm: measure yourself against the chart for the specific colorway you are buying, and treat any earlier ASSC purchase as a rough guide rather than a guarantee. This is not a tee to reorder blind.

Colorway run and day-to-day wear

The breadth of the run is the collection's strongest practical argument. The cherry-blossom print series is numbered roughly 01 through 29, appearing mostly in black, white, grey and burgundy bases, across S–XXL. That is a genuinely wide selection for a single product page, and it makes the grouped presentation useful rather than decorative: you can compare finishes while the silhouette, sleeve construction and neckline stay fixed.

In wear, the raglan sleeve and loose body make it an easy layer for spring through autumn — over denim or shorts on its own, or under an open jacket with the chest graphic left visible. The stated seasonal range matches what the fabric does; this is not a warm-weather-only shirt, but it is not a winter piece either.

What we would flag before you order

Two cautions carried over from buyer evidence rather than from our bench. First, the brand has a documented history of long handling and shipping times — its own site once asked buyers to allow 14–24 business days of shipping and handling plus delivery — which generated widespread complaints before logistics were reorganised around 2023. Second, quality perception is genuinely mixed; some buyers describe the product as a cheap blank with a print. Neither point changed our fabric or print measurements, but both belong in the decision.

We score this collection 4 / 5: a good mid-weight loose raglan tee with an exceptional colorway run at a low listed price, held back by a print that demands cold washing and by sizing that cannot be trusted across drops. Buyers who verify their measurements and wash cold will get a solid everyday streetwear shirt here. Buyers who tumble-dry, or who want a fit they can replace without checking a chart, should look elsewhere.

Frequently asked

How should I wash this tee?

Owners of ASSC tees advise hand-washing and keeping them out of the dryer, saying the printed graphics crack and peel when exposed to heat. Our own wash-cycle checks agree that heat and abrasion are the main risks to the print.

Does it fit true to size?

Buyer reports conflict. Some size up at least one, while others find ASSC tees true to size or slightly big. Confirm the listed measurements for the specific colorway you choose before ordering, since the same label can differ between drops.

Should I expect a long wait for delivery?

Possibly. The brand has a documented history of long handling and shipping times — up to roughly 14–24 business days handling plus delivery — which drew widespread complaints before logistics were reorganized around 2023.

Got the navy and the sage colorways. 230gsm claim feels accurate, definitely heavier than my old Gildan blanks. Raglan seams sit fine but the body is wider than I expected — I'm usually a M and the M fits like a relaxed L. Prints held up after three cold washes inside out, no cracking yet, though the sage one has slight edge fade. Worth it if you size down.
