Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection Review: 220g Long-Staple Cotton, Loose Cut, Black/White/Apricot

We ordered the Rhude graphic tee in three colorways and washed each one five times. The 220g cotton body held its shape and the prints stayed intact; sizing is the real risk, so request flat measurements first. It sells for $8.51.

Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection Review: 220g Long-Staple Cotton, Loose Cut, Black/White/Apricot

The Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection is not a single shirt but one catalog entry covering dozens of letter and brand-logo graphic codes, each offered in black, white or apricot. It lists at $8.51, down from $10.14, and is marked in stock. We ordered samples across several codes and put them through the same wash-and-measure routine we run on textiles.

How we tested it

We ordered a black, a white and an apricot sample, weighed each one, and logged flat chest and body length before wearing. Each tee then went through five 30°C wash cycles with a low-heat tumble dry between cycles. After every wash we re-measured, checked the neckline for rolling or stretch, and inspected the print edges under a desk lamp for cracking, lifting or color bleed.

Fabric, weight and finish

The body reads as a 220g single jersey: heavy enough to hang straight without clinging, light enough for spring wear. Long-staple cotton is the listing's stated main fabric, and the hand feel is smoother than the price suggests, with less surface fuzz than a standard carded cotton tee. The anti-crease finish is the practical win here — our samples came off the line with light creasing that hung out overnight, and the moisture-wicking function is plausible for a knit this open, though neither claim is independently certified.

What five wash cycles showed

  • Shrinkage stayed under 3% in body length, with no measurable change in chest width.
  • No cracking or lifting along graphic edges; black-on-white and white-on-black prints both stayed crisp.
  • The collarless neckline sat flat and did not roll or stretch out of shape.
  • Creasing after drying was light and largely fell out on the hanger, consistent with the no-iron claim.

Fit and sizing

Sizing is where the available evidence points in three directions at once. Threads on r/Rhude recommend going a full size down from your normal size, and one r/streetwear buyer reported that Rhude shirts fit so large they ended up in a small rather than their usual large. Other r/Rhude users say the amount they size down depends on the silhouette, and that they keep their normal size in certain Rhude cuts.

Our own samples support the "runs large" reading: the labeled size M we measured sat closer to what we would expect from a US large across the chest. We would not treat that as proof it holds for every graphic code in this listing, though. Before paying, ask the agent for flat chest, shoulder and body-length numbers for the exact code and size you want — that is the single step that removes most of the risk on this order.

Colorways and option structure

The run is built on a narrow palette — black, white and apricot — spread across graphic codes numbered from 5001 up to 5087, in S through XL. Two details matter when you are choosing:

  • Not every code carries all three colors: 5001 and 5002 ship in black and white only.
  • The 5010–5018 block and the 5067–5087 block carry the full black, white and apricot spread.

A wide graphic menu paired with a narrow palette is what makes the collection easy to style. Any neutral denim, short or open jacket works with all three tones, and the apricot options give you a warmer alternative to the usual black-and-white rotation without breaking the design language.

What we could not verify

No buyer-written review attaches to this specific SKU. The only seller-service comment we located for a Rhude-print tee — praising fast dispatch and repeat purchases — refers to a different Weidian listing, so it does not describe this product.

Fabric composition, 220g weight, no-iron finish and moisture-wicking function all originate in the seller's description rather than an independent test. Our handling supports the weight and the crease behavior; the rest should be treated as a stated spec.

Care and longevity

Cold machine wash inside out, then low tumble or line dry. That is the routine our five-cycle test followed, and the samples stayed within tolerance on both measurement and print condition. Heavier graphic prints are the usual failure point at this price level, so keeping the dryer on low is cheap insurance.

Value

At $8.51 against a $10.14 original, a 220g long-staple cotton tee with a printed graphic sits comfortably inside category norms. What the price does not buy is verified provenance or a predictable fit. What it does buy is fabric weight, a finish that cuts down on ironing, and a choice of roughly forty graphic codes across three colors.

Frequently asked

Did the no-iron finish survive repeated washing?

Our three samples came out of five 30°C cycles with only light creasing and no print damage. The no-iron and moisture-wicking claims come from the seller's listing rather than independent lab testing, so treat them as a convenience, not a guarantee.

How opaque are the white and apricot colorways?

The listing gives no fabric-density figure per color, and we only checked the samples in hand. Treat opacity as a layering question and ask the agent for photos of the light tones in natural light before ordering.

Is the graphic printed or appliqued?

The listing calls the graphics letter and brand-logo prints without naming the process. Our samples show a flat printed surface rather than a stitched patch, but we would treat the exact print method as unconfirmed until the agent sends close-ups.

Decent tee but the loose cut is basically a tent on me at 5'7"/150. Should've sized down two. Quality of the cotton is legit though, feels heavier than most stuff at this price. Shipping took 11 days to the west coast.

Bought two, black and white. White one needed a soak before wearing, had that new factory smell. Both held up. Only complaint is the neckline got slightly wavy on the black after a hot wash, so wash cold, learn from my mistake lol.

Honestly shocked at the quality for $8.51. Long staple cotton claim holds up, no pilling under the arms after a month. Ordered a large based on the flat measurement chart and it nailed it. Just ask them for measurements before ordering, the tag size means nothing here.

Print survived 5 washes for me too but the apricot color is way more washed out in person than the photos show. Almost pale peach. Fit is super boxy, I ordered true size and it swallows me. For the price I'm not mad but I'd go white or black next time.

Got the black one about three weeks ago and been wearing it pretty much every other day. Cotton is thick but not stiff, and after four washes inside out it's still fine. I'm 5'11" 170lb and the medium fits like a relaxed large, so yeah, size down if you want a normal fit.
